The revolving door continues on Fox29’s “Good Day Philadelphia,” as the station announced that John Anderson will become the new co-anchor with Sheinelle Jones from 6:00 – 9:00 a.m. starting October 24.

Clayton Morris, who joined the show only last year, will co-anchor the 5 – 6 a.m. hour of “Good Day” with Jones through the end of the year until his contract expires.

Morris replaced Scott Engler, who replaced George Mallet. Jones replaced Kerri Lee Halkett and Jennaphr Frederick. Engler left the business and Mallet joined a Milwaukee television station. Halkett anchors the Fox29 5 p.m. news and Frederick rejoined “Good Day” as a reporter.

Anderson arrives from NBC affiliate, WKYC-TV Cleveland, Ohio, the same market where Mike Renda, the Fox29 vice president and general manager previously worked. It is not known yet if Anderson’s wife, Kristin, also an anchor and reporter for WKYC will also join the station.
