New TMJ graphics in the works?

Saw that tonight during The Office. Who knows - actually could be in house, it wasn't that spectacular.

Looks a lot like WGBA. Keep in mind TMJ lacks opens at 10, so you probably won't find out until tomorrow. But then again, who knows.

Also worth nothing - for the first time since I can remember, WISN is doing cold opens at 10. YES! I KNOW!? Weird.

WTMJ might be getting new graphics. Note the final graphic from a recent promo:

That certainly doesn't look in-house, and the blue is much nicer than what they currently have...

PURPLE has returned to WTMJ?

Eew.

I don't know if the purple was done by accident (the red elements fading/mixing [bADLY] with the blue backgrounds -- I notice this when doing work in PowerPoint), or if the purple was intentional.

But I do agree: Wasn't purple so late 80s-early 90s? Eeeeewwwwww...

I dunno...WLS managed to do with it from 2001 to 2005 with their Purple/blue in-house graphics...it all depends on how the station uses the purple....they have to use it tactfully....unfortunately TMJ has failed in the "Tactful" area.
