CrankyMan 0 Posted December 4, 2007 Posted December 4, 2007 I enjoyed it, especially the sketches that satirized TV, like the meeting about the news intros and the role of the firefighter being interviewed. It struck me as a somewhat interesting and mildly daring stunt to have him host the show, but anyone who has seen Brian on talk shows will realize he has a great sense of humor and he does not take himself all that seriously. I've never met him but he strikes me as a very smart, pleasant and capable fellow. I also think that the NBC folks wanted to highlight his human side as a counter to Katie who has had years of appearing "natural" to viewers.
