Des Moines Register: Soliday and KCCI Part Ways

Well for the last month or so there has been a lot of speculation as to the whereabouts of KCCI Sports Director Heidi Soliday. It looks like its official, after 31 years in the sports department the 53 year old Soliday will be leaving the station, this according to a press release from KCCI. KCCI has given no details as to the reason for her departure, or who will succeed her at the anchor desk.

Soliday was the first female sports anchor in the United States.
