Dave Lampstein 6
I thought it was pretty neat. Their half-hour special was well done and his final thoughts at the end of the 10:00 newscast were good. He has a very interesting voice... I don't know if I would have been able to listen to that every night. I'm sure people in SLC are used to it. Meanwhile, a few blocks over at 2 News, Michelle King said her goodbyes. KUTV.com has video of that. It didn't have a red carpet, spot lights, or studio packed with an audience for a half-hour long special, but it was still good. CharlotteTV 0
It was kind of fitting for KSL to do a tribute to him and I hope the people at Bonneville (KSL's corporate parent) should rename the main studio for their newscasts the "Dick Nourse Studio" at Broadcast House.
