tvnewsjc 0
Looks to be for the first time in awhile, that CBS News and thier affliates are going to have a great 2008. Compared to earilier ratings to November sweeps, The CBS Evening News with Katie Couric came up slightly in ratings. The Early Show has big changes heading its way with a new member, new set, same time for all affliates and maybe HD?. Many of the CBS O&O's came in first or second, and most are in HD or plan to go that way in 2008. Across the board ratings will increase as we head in the 2008 Presidential Elections. So watch out CBS News might be raising once again. Anyone know about changes and ratings for (Sunday Morning, 48 Hours, 60 Minutes, Face the Nation, The Saturday Early Show, Up to the Minute) Link to comment https://localnewstalk.net/topic/2652-cbs-news-rising-again/ Share on other sites
TrfRptr 3
Early Show has changed sets, anchors, names, and formats 5-bazillion times in the last decade and it has never mattered. If you can get past WHO is reading the news, EN is a pretty good newscast. I agree, CBS seems to be on the uptick. But how about NBC holding it's own with lousy programming. WAVY 10 Fan 233
We'll see what happens in about three months, which should be long enough to figure out if this will be sustained or not.
