lazynetjunkie 34
As some of you may already know, CLTV, Chicago's cable news channel, turns 15 years old this coming January. CLTV has put some video clips of news stories from the past 15 years on their website, http://www.cltv.com, under the video category "CLTV turns 15". I watched through them to see if there were any videos that had any of their previous theme music packages in them. The only video I was able to find any of their old music was on the video "Birth of CLTV - 1993" which plays a soft piano cut from their original music package that contains the signature you may remember. I really hope someone can identify that music package because I've been trying to find out what it has been for a long time. I think they used that music package all the way until they switched to 615's High Velocity. You can hear the actual theme music used in the background from the time 12:40 to 12:49 in the video. It's interesting to see all those anchors/reporters that are no longer at CLTV in those videos. The anchor desk area of the set remains the same now as it did in 1993 for the most part; although, now there's a wall dividing the anchor desk from the rest of newsroom, the set (including the anchor desk) has a couple layers of paint on it, and WGN's old set was squeezed into that studio too.
