I'll have to agree here. That should have been Dana or Jim...but Chris? A news anchor who hasn't been in that capacity as long as the first two? WCBS is shooting itself yet again.

This truly is laughable. I actually think even Kristine Johnson would have been a better choice. (Though not a good one)

I think they are trying to add credibility to his name. I think Kristine might have been sent, but since she is pregnant. Plus, it is easy to have Kristine solo noon and Jim fill in at 5.

 

Chris, as much as I hate saying this, has improved since he took the desk. I still do not think he is news anchor material.

 

I wish I could say that Kristine has improved as well. She seems to be getting worse.

 

Chris took off very little this week. He worked Christmas day, and only took off Thursday and Friday. And Ducis and Sam have been promoting Sports Sunday as if he will be hosting it tonight. I must say, out of everyone, he is probably the hardest working WCBS anchor with working six day weeks.
