NYnewsFan 0 Posted December 30, 2006 Posted December 30, 2006 They are sending Chris Wragge to Washington DC to cover the Gerald Ford funeral. He'll be there starting Monday at 11.
morningnewsfan 0 Posted December 30, 2006 Posted December 30, 2006 Out of all people to send, unimaginable.
AceHawk447 17 Posted December 31, 2006 Posted December 31, 2006 I'll have to agree here. That should have been Dana or Jim...but Chris? A news anchor who hasn't been in that capacity as long as the first two? WCBS is shooting itself yet again.
ryinthesky9 0 Posted December 31, 2006 Posted December 31, 2006 This truly is laughable. I actually think even Kristine Johnson would have been a better choice. (Though not a good one)
TVNewsWatcher 6 Posted December 31, 2006 Posted December 31, 2006 Who is running CBS 2??? I'm actually starting to Miss Dianne Doctor and Lew..they seem to have been doing a better job than what 2 has been doing lately... >
nynewsguy 66 Posted December 31, 2006 Posted December 31, 2006 It's actually the beginning of a series called "Chris Wragge Reports" - ala "Roz Abrams Reports". I'm really not making this up - although I wish I were.

qwertywcbs 0 Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 I think they are trying to add credibility to his name. I think Kristine might have been sent, but since she is pregnant. Plus, it is easy to have Kristine solo noon and Jim fill in at 5. Chris, as much as I hate saying this, has improved since he took the desk. I still do not think he is news anchor material. I wish I could say that Kristine has improved as well. She seems to be getting worse. Chris took off very little this week. He worked Christmas day, and only took off Thursday and Friday. And Ducis and Sam have been promoting Sports Sunday as if he will be hosting it tonight. I must say, out of everyone, he is probably the hardest working WCBS anchor with working six day weeks.
