mbhcity 3
The rumors are true. Dennis Richmond, a longtime fixture on Channel 2, is retiring at the end of May Sweeps (May 21), he plans to become to spend the remainder of his time with his wife Deborah, in his home in the Sierra foothills. God Bless him, he was a fine journalist and a man who helped make The 10 O'Clock News a Bay Area tradition for many years. We may no longer see the guy, on air, but he'll still be in all our hearts. This does lead one to wonder, will KTVU turn into another KTLA without Richmond, considering the direction of KTLA's newscast after the death of Hal Fishman, but in the meantime, we can all wish the best for Dennis.
