lazynetjunkie 34 Posted February 3, 2008 Share Posted February 3, 2008 I was watching Eye on Chicago this morning for the first time in a couple weeks. Now that Rob Johnson is hosting it, I've noticed they've made some changes. There are some new graphics which I think look ok but are a little on the light side. The most notable change is the theme music. They are now using the "AM News" theme from Enforcer Series 2 (CD #2) for the theme of Eye on Chicago. I don't like that being used for Eye on Chicago. It sounds too light and fluffy. I like their previous Eye on Chicago theme alot better which was cuts #16-25 of CD #5 of the Enforcer package. The previous music fits the Rob Johnson open/rejoins better than what they are using now. I know they probably wanted to change it due to having a new host which is understandable; however, there are alot better themes in the package that could have been used. The AM Package #2 from Enforcer New Generation 1 fits better than the Series 2 AM Theme. Better yet, they could have gone back to using their Non-Stop WBBM News Music Package for their theme which they used the first year of Antonio Mora's Eye on Chicago. It's a more serious sounding theme. You can hear the new music and see the new graphics on the Eye on Chicago videos just posted up on cbs2chicago.com. What do you think?
