Strip search of cop allegedly corroborates teen's claim

(02/20/08) NEW ROCHELLE - The teen accusing New Rochelle Police Sergeant David Rodgriguez of rape apparently had intimate details about her alleged attacker, according to The Journal News.

The teenager had told investigators that Rodriguez shaves his genital area. The claim was reportedly backed up when the nine-year police veteran was asked to comply to a strip search.

Sergeant David Rodriguez was one of several officers who responded to a domestic dispute on Feb. 8 involving a 17-year-old illegal immigrant and her 35-year-old boyfriend. The girl claims Rodriguez came back to her home and forcibly raped her after his shift ended.

Many have questioned the girl’s credibility because she waited until after the weekend to report the rape and did so after she failed to get the charges against her boyfriend dropped.

Rodriguez has been suspended with pay during the investigation. The police commissioner says it will be at least a week before the department knows if or when any formal charges will be brought against Sgt. Rodriguez.

Darlene was back on a Friday morning. She looked beautiful as usual. Even Matt Laurer made a comment how well she looked in purple.

Were the previous posts about that policeman being Dalrene's husband true?
