ybYellow 2 Posted February 22, 2008 Posted February 22, 2008 Sara Underwood is leaving WBZ after 8 years because her contract is not being renewed. It is sad really, she was one of my favorites. JMG 0 Posted February 23, 2008 Posted February 23, 2008 Well, I think they should bring Liz Walker back. Her and Jack Williams seem to do good together (so I saw on the old YouTube videos), even if its temporary.

Her and Jack Williams seem to do good together (so I saw on the old YouTube videos), even if its temporary. Liz Walker is no longer part of the news division at WBZ. She recently signed a new contract with the programming division. Walker resigned as principal news anchor in June 2000 to enroll at Harvard Divinity School and anchor the midday news. After graduating, she resigned from the midday job to focus on the ministry and her new program, Sunday with Liz Walker (http://wbztv.com/sundays), a theme-based newsmagazine.

I'm fully aware and understand, thats why I said "even if its temporary", i mean because technically she has experience and she could potentially be a good fill-in.
ybYellow 2 Posted February 24, 2008 Author Posted February 24, 2008 In theory, that could work. But then if they tried it they would have to move Lisa Hughes around, and she wouldn't like that. Plus there would be many boundaries with the contracts of both people.
ybYellow 2 Posted September 3, 2008 Author Posted September 3, 2008 Sara Underwood will be starting with WFXT (Fox 25) tomorrow.
