Dave Lampstein 6
When Brad Hick's contract was not renewed by KNTV in '03, Brad decided to sue the network for race discrimination because he was replaced by a black man. Go figure, eh?
mbhcity 3
Methinks its more so about ego than it is about race. Consider Max Robinson of ABC World News Tonight (during the Peter/Frank/Max days), who while often playing the race card, was a notorious drunk, possible druggie, and don't get me, or anyone on this board, started on you know what. Nevertheless, these things happen and people will cry foul when it rains on their day to pitch, just like Mr. Hicks. I say, if there is legitimate reason, such as documented evidence to accuse the station for this reason...then sh***y pity on NBC11....It's happened before if you remember Christine Craft and Hunter Tylo (of Melrose Place fame; she sued Aaron Spelling because he fired her for being knocked up).
