tyrannical bastard 3955
Media General has entered into an agreement to sell WTVQ-TV in Lexington, KY to Morris Network. Morris also purchased WDEF in Chattanooga, TN from Media General back in 2006. If Morris decides to pick up the rest of the MG stations for sale (WMBB, WCWJ, KALB & WNEG) it's likely not a lot will change with these stations, as seen with WDEF. WXmanTim 88
Yeah, they pretty much leave the local management team to run their own stations. They own WCBI-4-CBS here in Columbus, MS. Of the two stations that do local newscasts, they are probably the best run and have seen significant technical upgrades over the last few years since being purchased by Morris Networks from the local newspaper owners (Imes Communications/Columbus Commercial-Dispatch).
