nbc9houston 22 Posted April 12, 2008 Posted April 12, 2008 I was checking out the WVUE page on Wikipedia and found out that one of there reporters is on leave while sering in Iraq. One of WVUE's news anchors, Patrick Evans, is currently on Navy reserve duty in Iraq. He has a blog spot located at http://talktopatrick.blogspot.com/.
sctvhound 27 Posted April 13, 2008 Posted April 13, 2008 WCIV's Tom Crawford serves in the Air Force Reserves, and is a Persian Gulf War and Vietnam veteran. WCSC's Bill Walsh is also in the Reserves, and they both take several weeks off per year to serve.
jhampsten 0 Posted June 28, 2008 Posted June 28, 2008 KTVI's Chris Higgins is in the Air Force Weather Squadron and is currently in the SW Asia area serving the country.
minnesotan 0 Posted July 5, 2008 Posted July 5, 2008 Christine Clayburg, the weekend meteorologist at FOX 9 (kmsp) in the twin cities just joined the air national guard.
bixpchiphead 105 Posted July 15, 2008 Posted July 15, 2008 And here's one who is leaving the business to serve the navy full time. After 20 years in the Naval Reserves and anchor gigs in Seattle, Nashville, Seattle again, and Kalamazoo/Grand Rapids, Jeff McAtee is going Navy full-time by late July.
