Nielsen gives an error margin of about 1.14% - which is more than the spread between the two stations. 5 p.m. KOLD KVOA KGUN (KOLD avg'd 2200 more viewers than KVOA) 6 p.m. KVOA KOLD KGUN (KVOA avg'd 900 more viewers than KOLD) 10 p.m. KVOA KOLD KGUN (KVOA avg'd 1300 more viewers than KOLD) KGUN is down more than 50% at 10 p.m., 35% at 6 p.m., but up 40% at 5 At 9 p.m., the only newscast on KMSB FOX 11 is doubled it's audience size over last year, but KWBA (CW 58) had a competing newscast which has since been dropped. I'm a little surprised about KGUN's performance. Aside from Guy Atchley being a little annoying, I think they have a pretty solid product. I would've thought that the departures of Kris Pickel and Randy Garsee would've hurt KOLD, but apparently not.
