hawgrdnsguy 0
Here an interesting story on the power of "You Tube"; a low power station in Temecula,CA (Southern California's wine county)has placed some of it stories on You Tube. KZSW-TV as a way to get exposure for its self. The article was from http://www.PE.com from the Riverside Press-Enterprise newspaper. Here the link: http://www.pe.com/localnews/inland/stories/PE_News_Local_D_youtube15.37902b2.html O.K. Its has a very, very, very small town look but remember small stations are don't have the budgets of KTLA, CBS 2 /KCAL 9, and ABC 7 and staffers are probably some college grad looking for his or her big break, or retirees who changed their minds about retiring from broadcast journalism (because they miss the news room environment but don't want the big (city)market headaches. Or even those who transition[sic]TV news from other careers or moving from radio, Public relations etc. cut them some slack. (although if anyone see any of the You Tube videos or a couple newscast on the stations web site an wants to make graphics be my guest.) hawgardnsguy P.S. you may need to register to PE.com to read the community.
