The longtime Channel 5 anchor and reporter emailed colleagues and friends.

 

For nearly 24 years, KTLA has been my second home. I have loved my career here at KTLA and I'll miss each of you very much. I wish you all the very best.

Along with many layoffs and the death of Hal Fishman, KTLA once again bearing witness to further deterioration of its news dept. All they have now is Stan Chambers, and who knows how long he'll last.

Oh man!!! At one point, she was their star anchor. All those people at KTLA were legends.

 

One thing I can particularly remember that goes to show how great she is, she was with Hal Fishman throughout his final illness. She read him the messages that flooded in from well-wishers. She was with him the morning he passed and she went over to offer her thoughts on KTLA Morning News.
