"Big change" coming to WKBW?

Apparently WKBW-TV has been promoting a "big change" coming to the station starting tomorrow. I'm guessing that they will bring back the popular Eyewitness News format, as well as MCTYW...

What if they take the opportunity to switch to HD? I know Granite's low on cash but maybe they were able to scrape up enough for a switch. Very unlikely though....

I really hope they drop RHRN and go back to the EWN format. WIVB has been suffering since Time Warner pulled 4 off there cable lineup, and WGRZ just went with their new G3 gigs. So maybe KB can finally get some power back, well at least be a very close second to Channel 2.

Eyewitness News and MCTYW are back at WKBW...just a new open and theme, no new graphics and set. I'm surprised that they didn't take the opportunity to change the set and graphics while they were at it...

This is from their morning show. I was also hoping for some more graphics alterations but I'm happy they have the MCTYW back fully and the EWN Title back.

I'm glad they're bringing it back...if only other stations that used the theme in the past could "revitalize" it and incorporate it into their newscasts.

"Eyewitness News" is back! WKBW will be back to number 1 before you know it. The theme in Western New York screams WKBW Channel 7.

They actually updated the logo too, a couple of weeks ago to resemble the old "Eyewitness News" logo.
