100-day DTV Countdown.

As you know, the FCC requires television stations to start airing those 100-day countdown notions which will lead up to the analog cut-off date on 11:59pm local time on Tuesday, February 17th, 2009. I just saw a five second tag on WLS with the notion with a big 100 on the screen. Have anybony else have saw similar notions?

I saw one on WFLA, Tampa (cfif - I was at the gym and was not permitted to change the channel).

KARE has the same thing...it says 98 days left. They also have a voiceover saying "Only XX days left until the DTV switch. Are you ready?"

WTVY has a big count down in their legal ID at the top of every hour...

WSMV does a 5-second tag featuring one of the anchors every other commercial break. They pretty much say the same thing KARE does.

All PA stations are doing a "DTV Transition Test" on Monday at 6:25 pm.

In Charleston, Channel 2 and Channel 5 both do a 100-day countdown, on the morning news and in IDs.

WGNT's doing some interesting cross-promotion between shows and the DTV switch... today I saw a promo with "only 88 days until House of Payne goes digital."

WFMJ (Youngstown) is using the same countdown as NBC O&Os, you can tell by the graphics. I'm guessing it's KNTV's because of the palm trees.
