CDubya87 0
After watching the 6pm news last night, I heard a voice, that sounded familiar, but was not Ray Otis. I have learned that the CSD for KSNF/KODE failed to renew Ray Otis' contract with KSNF. As a result, the announcer for KODE is now doing both KSNF and KODE. Another great cost-cutting effort by Nexstar I presume. KODE's announcer is the same guy as was the announcer for KEPR/KYMA back in their WGCL news theme days and Enforcer era. mobilene 2
I didn't know Ray Otis was still around. Somewhere around here I have a tape from when I worked in radio of him saying, "You're with Jim Grey on 1230 WBOW!" CDubya87 0
lol he doesn't do many stations anymore - at least in terms of TV that I know of. He's still got 2 or 3 other nexstar stations, WJET, KQTV and I *think* KBTV. They may have switched.
