One of the reasons they kept Cheryl Tan on the A.M. crew after Furey returned from maternity leave was with this new broadcast in mind. Only real surprise is the relative lack of promotion, especially if they plan on launching next week. Since FOX and WAVY share the same HD set now, it will be interesting to see how they coordinate the WAVY cut-ins during the 7am hour of TODAY with this new 7am hour of FOX-43. james32746 8 Posted January 27, 2009 Share Posted January 27, 2009 WESH and WFTV in Orlando air the Today and GMA cut-in's respectively on their 7 AM newscasts on WKCF (WESH) and WRDQ (WFTV) after a commercial break from their 7 AM news. WAVY probably would do the same thing what the two Orlando stations do for their 7 AM broadcasts. Just saw a promo on WAVY for it... my guess is they'll promote the heck out of it between today and its premiere.
