HoustonNews 0
Several changes I thought I'd let you know about... First, (I just saw the promo) KHOU will go HD as of super bowl sunday. This includes all newscasts and CBS programming. Second, KHOU has slightly modified their set as of this morning. The glass blue wall with TVs (behind Greg Hurst) has been changed to a wall of vertical LCDs displaying an 11 News logo animation. Also, the weather center to the left of the new LCDs has been changed to a blue/purple wall with CBS logos. Third, I'm not sure whether or not this is for certain at this point, but it appears Deborah Duncan has been moved to Lisa Foronda's position, co-anchoring the 5 and 10 o'clock newscasts. Once again, I'm not sure if this is temporary, or a done deal. Shern-Min Chow anchored the morning news this morning. So, it appears that lots of stuff is happening off of Allen Pkwy. kjohnson 17
Perhaps this means that KMOV may possibly move toward HD before '09. I can only hope, right? Link to comment https://localnewstalk.net/topic/500-changes-coming-to-khou/#findComment-3923 Share on other sites
jhampsten 0
Perhaps this means that KMOV may possibly move toward HD before '09. I can only hope, right? yeah, if that happens, look out KSDK, they might lose even more viewers than they already have to news 4. One thing though, who would want to see Larry conners in HD?
