It's November 13, 1986 and "World News Tonight with Peter Jennings" is originating from London. President Reagan will speak to the nation, this night, about the emerging Iran-Contra scandal as more details surface regarding the "arms for hostages" deal.

 

The posters says he recorded this off pre-scrambled satellite when you could pick up the network feeds (minus commercials).

I just got a chance to see this video. It's cool to see Peter Jennings at work - but sad to see him light up two cigarettes in just the 30 minute clip, knowing now that is what ended up first taking away his voice, then killing him far before his time.
