Guest cfif
Apparently KCEN (Temple/Waco, TX) doesn't use a PSIP virtual channel. Before February 17, they were "NBC 6" (their analog channel -- and the channel that would have been their virtual channel)...now they're "KCEN 9" (their digital channel): (Before/After) This is odd....have any other stations done this? (And do others plan on it?) I don't really get the reasoning behind a station switching their branding to (and actually using) the station's "actual" DT channel. I would guess that it's confusing to the viewer. Link to comment https://localnewstalk.net/topic/5166-kcen-strangeness/ Share on other sites
rjdickens 1
We won't either. The local CW affil is 5 on cable... it's just easier for us to call ourselves 43. Link to comment https://localnewstalk.net/topic/5166-kcen-strangeness/#findComment-48368 Share on other sites
