KSNF TOWER

Reported by:

Friday, May 8, 2009 @10:15am CST

Severe weather has affected operations at KSNF-TV. Strong winds have downed a large portion of the antenna. This also caused significant damage to our building. Our signal is down at the present time and electricity is out at both KSN & KODE. We do not know how long we'll be unable to broadcast but will update this website as more information becomes available. Please tune in to KODE for the latest information.

**No one in the building or neighboring area was injured.

My friend that still works there took me up there a day or two ago...it's incredible. Hard to believe the place I worked 5 years is pretty much gone. The last he told me is due to the structural instability they intend to demolish the entire building and start from the ground up. KOLR-TV (a Nexstar sister) said in their report that the neighbors are scared and intend to ask KSN/Nexstar to build the tower somewhere else.
