sg9018 10 Posted January 31, 2007 Posted January 31, 2007 Richard Huff at the Daily News reports that Mark Joyella contract is not going to be renewed. This is his last week at WNYW. http://www.tvspy.com/shoptalk.cfm?page=1 http://www.nydailynews.com/entertainment/ent_radio/story/493297p-415472c.html I never like him on GDNY. I like him better when he did real/hard news and not morning garbage.
NYnewsFan 0 Posted February 1, 2007 Posted February 1, 2007 So sending a guy out at 6 am and then having him stand around commenting on what he reads in the paper that day, and then being told at 8:30 to do some menial task wasn't working out? He was fine doing real reporting but it was his idea to do what he does now for GDNY. Bring back Gordon Elliott.
PunditWannabe 0 Posted February 1, 2007 Posted February 1, 2007 I can't say that I'm too upset by his departure. I hadn't seen him on GDNY, as I find that program completely unwatchable these days, but I didnt care for his reporting style on the 10 pm newscast. But I do wish him the best.
morningnewsfan 0 Posted February 4, 2007 Posted February 4, 2007 Does anyone know if they gave him any type of goodbye or informed the viewers on air of his departure?
