hinto 0
Citytv Toronto and OMNI TV Toronto (all owned by Rogers) are scheduled to move into their new location at downtown Toronto's Yonge-Dundas Square on Tuesday September 8. The move was necessitated by CTV's acquisition of CHUM, as CTV was made to divest Citytv, but held on to the station's building at 299 Queen Street West (where other former CHUM entities are still located). In advance of the move, Citytv has been running a series on the station's history, as well as that of Yonge-Dundas Square, which had been transformed from a rather seedy area to a public square with flashy neon lights and LED signs a la Times Square. Also features some clips of old CityPulse opens with Gonna Fly Now.
