eyewitness_news 5
It's official! Starting Sept. 21, WTIC Fox 61 will launch a half-hour midday newscast and it will air at 11 a.m. This will compete with WVIT's 11 a.m. newscast. The Martha Stewart Show will move to their sister station WTXX Channel 20 (CW) airing at 9 a.m. Link to comment https://localnewstalk.net/topic/5796-wtic-to-launch-midday-newscast-starting-sept-21/ Share on other sites
90stvland 1
Weren't they also supposed to launch a 5pm newscast as well, or has that been postponed due to Dr. Oz now airing at 5? eyewitness_news 5
Actually, the 5/6 p.m. newscast has been postponed while "Dr. Oz" lands on the 5 p.m. hour slot. WCTX airs a morning newscast produced by WTNH from 7 to 8 a.m. in addition to the 35-minute newscast at 10 p.m. WTXX is lucky to air a 10 p.m. simulcast with Fox 61 which lasts about an hour.
