NewsJunkie247 1
I guess KDKA is trying to gain some strength in the morning period where they have always suffered by reinvent themselves with new anchors. It is rather surprising that they decided to hire someone new during this tough economy, nevertheless it is nice to see. Now, one is left to wonder, what happens to Stephanie Watson? The article mentions that David Highfield will return to his reporting duties, so I can only assume that Stephanie will return to her weekend evening duties. Reporters Paul Martino and Trina Orlando have been filling-in on the weekends for several months, so they will most likely continue their reporting duties full time. NewsJunkie247 1
Rick Dayton and Jennifer Antkowiak debuted this morning on the KDKA-TV Morning News. It was great to see Jen back on the anchor desk. Rick seemed a little nervous, so I will give it some time before a make any judgements. Also, according to Stephanie Watson's Twitter account, she will be returning to her weekend anchor duties.
