At least WJBK gets it good

Meanwhile while WXYZ now looks like the entertainment magazine which follows its 7pm news (lol, YES), WJBK seems to be patchworking in styles from the "new" Fox O&O graphics now into their graphics package (which in fact, as I originally noted, was a patchwork of styles from their old VDO graphics atop the new style)

 

As in:

 

• The intros are similar (similar backgrounds) but the logo transition is more like the old one. They're still using the angled "frame" for the cold open
  
• Same logo too, no FOX2 HD or anything like that, they did their HD transition rather quietly I might add so ... well
  
• The L3's are the center-aligned "dark red" ones, but they don't have 3D transitions like WNYW.
  
• Still using the bug from the "old" version, not the thin-topped one.
  
• Same weather graphics (they had updated that and the Breaking News transitions when they went HD earlier this year)
  
• They're still using more orange/gold-colored versions of "most" of the graphics during the morning show, L3's are shared now.
  

Its hard to explain until you actually see it, but they kinda seem to be going down the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it all at once" direction.

Just the phrasing "gets it good" makes me cringe.
