FOX Could Be Taken Off Time Warner Cable

If you have Time Warner Cable, starting on January 1st, you may not be able to watch FOX shows like "American Idol", "House", "Glee", and NFL playoff games as well as local Fox O&O's newscasts.

Fox News Channel will not be affected and will remain on Time Warner Cable if a deal is not reached.

I personally think that if a deal is not reached and if Fox is taken off, Time Warner Cable will suffer immensely since Time Warner is one of the biggest cable companies in large TV markets such as New York and Los Angeles.

If a channel is available OTA, it should be available to the cable companies for free in that DMA.

Must-carry only applies if the station wishes to be carried. Stations can't be forced to air their programming on a cable system.
