newscenter 0
I do know that Gaylord stations owned KTVT in Dallas/Fort Worth and KSTW in Seattle/Tacoma. Both stations are Channel 11s, but they were Independent stations until 1995. I also know about KTVT becoming a CBS affiliate in 1995, while they were still owned by Gaylord. And, if KSTW wanted to continue doing news, Gaylord suggested KSTW join KTVT in the CBS joint. CBS bought KTVT Channel 11 after 1995 was over. The question remains. After CBS bought KTVT, did KSTW go back to doing the 10:00 News; this time as a UPN affiliate? They then started airing a 10pm newscast from KIRO (Eyewitness News at Ten) in 2003, went on a 7-month hiatus later that year, then brought it back only to cancel it for good in 2005. gameshowguy2000 1
Yep, and KTVT was still doing their Superstation programming until 2000, when CBS bought them. After CBS bought them, their Superstation status became a thing of the past.
