WAVY 10 Fan 233 Posted February 13, 2007 Share Posted February 13, 2007 I noticed that Jim Lawrence (weekend evening meteorogists) left WAVY last month and was replaced by Cheryl Nelson. Since they didn't give him a big going-away party (if he was retiring, which was what I originally thought happened) or even make mention of it; my guess is whatever led to his departure, it doesn't look like he left on good terms. Hmmm... Former longtime LIN TV WAVY (10/NBC) meteorologist Jim Lawrence was spotted in the hallways Monday of 613 Woodis Ave. Where's that? The WVEC (13/ABC) studios in Norfolk. Was he there to say he thinks Channel 13's radar is better than Channel 10's? (1/31/2007) I like Cheryl... she's pretty good.
