lazynetjunkie 34 Posted July 3, 2010 Share Posted July 3, 2010 At the end of tonight's FOX Chicago News at 9, Lilia Chacon made her final tearful farewell after 21 years at the station. She was outright honest to the viewers and said that FOX decided to give her the boot. This is really too bad.. Lilia was one of the best reporters at the station and she really fit the direction the station was going. My guess is she needed to go to free up some payroll for Fowler's new hires. It was just weird seeing Jeff Goldblatt sitting next to Lilia while she was saying her farewell knowing that he's going to be doing the same any day now..
