TVNewsRI 4 Posted July 25, 2010 Posted July 25, 2010 During the Wisconsin flooding on Thursday/Friday, WDJT was knocked off of the air, so WTMJ made it's programming, including news, available on channel 4.3. http://www.rbr.com/tv-cable/26140.html Its always nice to see a station lending a hand to a competitor.
Weeters 1969 Posted July 25, 2010 Posted July 25, 2010 WDJT actually did this for WTMJ last year when their transmitter was struck by lightning. I kind of feel bad for the Sinclair duopoly here, their facilities flooded and knocked both their channels offline and no one really cared. None of the local articles mentioned it either. The only way I know it actually flooded is because one of their engineers posts on a local TV discussion board.
