Rochester NY: Jennifer Johnson moves from WHEC to WHAM

In a pretty interesting move, Jennifer Johnson from Channel 10 WHEC is moving to WHAM, according to posts on facebook by both 13 WHAM's Rachel Barnhart and the 13 WHAM Morning Show's fan page.

 

She is set to be taking the place of Holly Maynard on the morning show, who left earlier this Summer for a position at WSOC in Charlotte, NC.

 

She is expected to begin anchoring with Norma Holland, Doug Emblidge, and Evan Dawson later this month.

 

According to comments made on 13WHAM affiliated facebook pages, Johsnon didn't have to wait out the standard period of time that usually blocks local talent from hopping to another station because she was working without a contract.

We'll I can't blame them for wanting the 4 anchor format again, they could do so much better, I always thought she was the worst anchor on 10 (though Rick Funke ain't much better), Rachel would have been better . But I hope Nikki Rudd gets it, though it would be easiest to give it to Robin (who's good as well).
