Bucc 4
WCWN has been airing a 10 minute newscast at 10 (10-10:10) for a while now, but starting monday the CW15 News at 10 will expand to an hour. The newscast is produced by their sister station WRGB/CBS6. It was announced on meteorologist Steve LaPoint's FB page: Beginning on Monday our 10 minute 10pm newscast on the CW15 will become a full 30 minute show. (We're actually running a rehearsal as I write right now) Check it out as an alternative to FOX 23, all of the days main stories, weather, and some extras as well We'll see what this newscast is like. While I don't expect it to be as extreme as the changes to the WPIX news at 10. The CW15 uses a 10 @ 10 formate now and I would like if they continued that for the 30 minutes. 10 stories and weather, it could work. Also, this is going to be the 1st time -I can remember- that Fox23 News at 10 has had formidable competition at 10. WRGB normally streams their news live online: http://www.wrgb.com if you want to watch Monday at 10, I think I will be watching. Here's more...
