Geoffrey 861
Engine failure reportedly to blame and the back of its tail snapped off. Picture here: http://losangeles.cbslocal.com/2010/11/12/sky-2-makes-hard-landing/ Wonder if it was a missile. ABC7 Los Angeles 1
Haha, not a missile. I stopped by the airport a few minutes after it happened and they were all okay. Engine failure unfortunately does happen to these kinds of helicopters, it's just a matter of when. That helicopter is only six years old too... stevieboy247 42
Wow, I'm glad to hear they're alright. Covering news via a helicopter sure is a tough job. Link to comment https://localnewstalk.net/topic/6922-sky9s-hard-landing/#findComment-62797 Share on other sites
ABC7 Los Angeles 1
Seems like it, but the hardest working guy up there is the photog. But they are always having a great time up there!
