stevieboy247 42
I found out recently that Jessica Holmes is now anchoring the KTLA News at 1PM on Thursdays and Fridays. I'm don't think she's a good fit for the "Hard News" anchoring position. Maybe the station is trying something new. Any thoughts? first on fox 18
I know as a staunch supporter of "journalism" I should hate her....but I don't. I find her enjoyable, funny and down to earth. Am I alone on that? Link to comment https://localnewstalk.net/topic/6988-jessica-holmes/#findComment-63355 Share on other sites
fan of la tv 47
At first I found her voice annoying. But now it doesnt bother me. I agree with the previous poster. I actually enjoy watching her anchoring the 1PM. When she's being serious, she's as good as any other anchor. ABC7 Los Angeles 1
I agree, At first I didn't take her very seriously, but it does look like she's trying. I prefer her over Emmet Takesbigannoyingbreathsbeforeeveysentence who has been gone from KTLA for some time now. rah6448 21
In other news, tonight is the first time that I've seen KTLA run a 5 o' clock newscast in my four years as a resident of the Southland....probably special due to the Rose Parade, I guess.
