Does anyone have more info on Lisa Thomas-Laury coming back to Action News (position, if she'll be paired with Jim Gardner [Goldman for some])?

It's still not confirmed, but an Inquirer report indicated that she'll be eased back into things and will only do special reports at first. Laura Nachman is backing that up.

It isn't like she is a good anchor or anything.

Just because your on TV for years doesn't mean you are any good.

Just look at Jim Gardner.

ouch! I grew up watching Lisa and think she and Marc Howard were an excellent team.

I heard that also, but i hope she gets to be at the 5,6, or 11 PM Newscast. I think she is a great news anchor, and she has been there for a while, so she should be at the 5, 6, or 11. But if she goes to the 5 who would move, Rick or Monica?

My best guess is that if she got back to anchoring she'd just do weekends with Rob Jennings because I don't know that she'd be ready for a full-time committment, and also I don't think they want to mess with any of their anchor teams (although I wouldn't mind her doing noons with Rick..)

I believe there is enough work for Lisa filling in for Jim, Rob and even Rick or Monica during vacations and sicknesses. There are also the nights when the Eagles play, when Lisa used to fill in for Jim before she had to leave.
