More major names leaving: Glenn Beck (confirmed) and Matt Lauer (reportedly)

First Meredith Vieira, now Matt Lauer...he is reportedly leaving Today after his contract expires after 2012:

I am sure most liberals are happy about Beck. But let's face it, despite having millions of viewers, the over all viewership has been declining. Being the powerhouse that Fox News is, that won't cut it these days.

Somewhat surprised that Lauer wants out. Wonder what the reason could be.

 

As for Glenn, I know problems with sponsors played a big role in his show's recent struggles. On the other hand, it sounds like they're keeping him around for the occasional special, so it doesn't appear that things have necessarily turned sour between Beck and FNC brass (i.e.: Roger Ailes).
