Updated Logo at WCPO - Possible Scripps Graphics Refresh on the Way?

I have long been a major critic of the graphics operation at Scripps stations, but that may be changing soon, hopefully. A few days ago, WCPO began using different graphics in their promos, with a more WFTS (pre-standardization of the Scripps graphics era) look to them. Today, a refreshed logo with different animation debuted on the evening broadcast. It looks like the logo that they used before they began using the standard graphics, in that they have removed the "HD" text from the logo, and replaced it with the ABC logo, just as it was before. In addition, they are using the lighter colors that are reminiscent of the older logo, instead of the more vivid colors that made the logo look very "2007ish". The new animation is more slick as well, and leaves the logo on the full stage longer than the website logo, unlike the old one. The Verdict? They're small changes, but it's enough to make me hopeful that the awful Scripps graphics may be headed out the door, and while I am not a huge fan of the WFTS graphics, which are also Renderon, anything is an improvement at this point. More to come, I hope...

I tried to upload some pictures, but it isn't working right now, I figure it has something to do with the new website operation, (which looks great!) but here are some links:
