jayRos 0 Posted March 27, 2007 Share Posted March 27, 2007 I think Katie Couric did a great job with the Edwards interview. She is much better at interviewing than anchoring. That is why she was better on Today as opposed to Evening News. I do not understand why she is criticized for that interview. She was asking questions that needed to be ask while showing compassion for the Edwards family. I don't think John or his wife were surprised or offended by any of the questions that Katie asked. Katie was being realistic. Remember, her husband and sister had cancer so she can relate to that topic. If Barbara Walters asked the same exact questions, I don't think the viewers would be as offended because Walters is known for her blunt style.
