  1. CBS3 did a story on National Have Fun at Work Day. Here's the story: http://philadelphia.cbslocal.com/show/latest-video/video-3352653-national-have-fun-at-work-day/ However, I noticed this during the Video : Wow. Also, Anita Oh did a live shot tonight on Eyewitness News. Her Twitter pics say she last worked at WMAZ. The young hires continue.

  2. The story in this video doesn't matter but the open does. I keep looking for this open because I like the music cut in this particular open and also because the NMSA doesn't have it yet. Behold... News 12 Long Island (which btw, you can watch for free now, along with the other News 12 channels):

  3. A decent percentage of "retirement" and "spending time with family" announcements are total crap...

  4. I wonder if he's planned this all along. I hate to suggest that he was lying in his original announcement from when he left TV, but this seems suspiciously like it could be the termination of a non-compete clause.

  5. They're probably just going after NBC10 because they think they have no chance at beating Action News.

  6. I already mentioned this before, but it's official... I've made it! Check out the H/T at the end. I never thought that such a kind of blog like mines would end up in a site quite like this one: http://www.adweek.com/tvspy/wxxv-adds-3rd-newscast-in-6-months/162850

  7. Looks like "Matter of Fact" moves to midnight, bumping "Inside Edition Weekend" to 4:30am Sunday Morning (in turn bumping paid programming to 4am, which apparently bumps "Open House" off the schedule).

  8. Keith was in for Jim at 4pm today. But guess who filled in for Jim at 6pm? Jim!

  9. Even though the content maybe crass (though in a tongue-in-cheek sorta way), you do have to wonder if firing seven people for playing Cards Against Humanity, much less any game (unless overtly sexualized in nature, making such a move more justifiable), will bite WTOL/Raycom if some or all of those fired end up slapping them with a wrongful termination lawsuit.
