This move is also in response to NBC announcing that the Access Hollywood/Extra pair will move to "their station" effective the start of next year. Whatever show gets the shaft will probably get some fringe slot on WLVI for the time being.1 point

I know KRON is practically a zombie, but KRON still does exist unless MG lets it go beforehand. I agree with Nexstar because I can't think of a TV deal with that much scale involved. The combined company would have nearly 100 news departments under their control, Sinclair even now doesn't even have 60. The whole thing reeks of a pending disaster.1 point

I kind of disagree about the sponsor tag. While I have to agree that it is tacky, it's really the only way at this point that we're gonna hear a good chunk of the theme at the end. Every other station rushes their close more than 6 tends to.1 point
