1. I have a question. Why do everyone seem to hate Dari Alexander? Yes she's not spectacular at her job but isn't that bad.

 2. I never really thought her delivery style fit KDVR or morning show formats all that well. I never thought she'd stay at KDVR for very long, but then again, nobody does.

 3. Sounds like a previously unknown theme to me. They were definitely using Spirit in some way just before the news operation folded.

 4. Plenty of "buyers" out there....just not a lot of banks or investors stupid enough to get into another cumuless- clearchannel fiasco. \ I'm not a fan of TV's selling off the am/fm's of legacy calls. It's as bad as selling off one of your children. Good radio still does make money in many markets. Radio survived TV, newspapers, newsreels ,Talkies, free porn and a slew of other attackers so far.

 7. In my opinion Taresa Priolo is trying to be the next Rosanna Scotto and it's not working.. Just do your own thing and you'll come off as more genuine.. I'm actually surprised that Huddy is gone/ was let go.. There was always something weird though.. She NEVER filled in on GDNY.. No matter who was out.. I would still like to know the story behind that.

 8. Put a couple more uploads up First; a 1995 WAVY ID from when the station first took to the Internet Also, an NBC Nightly News promo for October 18, 1995 (focusing on their Fleecing of America segments exposing government waste)

 9. Trust me, you're in for a much better experience watching CBS. Ironically (and funnily) enough, CBS actually did have a similar format for the old CBSTM back in the mid to late 90s. Co-hosts Harry Smith, Paula Zahn and Mark McEwen brought a studio audience with them to the Broadcasting Center. It's exactly what you think it would turn out--depending on your view.

 10. Hopefully Nexstar will invest in the former WV Media stations. This Nexstar graphic grab was added when it started a time brokerage agreement with WV Media.

 11. IIRC, "Spirit (of Texas)" was brought on after WTTV shut down their in-house news production. Channel 4 only used the image campaign of Spirit for a couple of years, with the lyrics being "The Heart of Indiana on 4...TTV4". By then, WTTV was airing WRTV's 10pm production.
