  1. If I told you they photo shopped that new tower into the shot...would it ruin your Christmas? How would you really know? (winky winky)

  2. Speaking of Atlanta, here’s some 11 Alive promos voiced by a very “Young” John Young. (Heh heh...)

  8. I’m having trouble figuring out what you are trying to connect here? Yes he congratulated Jones but that means nothing. Trump is known to go off half cocked at a moments notice even after he says the opposite of what he rants. So her statement isn’t to throw shade, it’s a safe bet that he won’t be normal and not mention Moore’s loss the next day. He was very likely to go on a rant, his own congratulations be damned.

  9. That WAGA open set is the only open set I know of outside of KTVK that used Almost Casey Kasem™. Come to think of it, KTVK has had a lot of presentation and other connections to Atlanta stations over the years. It used the Hayes/Mike Byrne theme for the Outlet stations (NMSA WAGA 1977). There's the voiceover. Then there's WGCL which in the early 2000s picked up David Miller for music (leading to the poorly conceived Atlanta's NewsChannel package — listening to it now, the composer is obvious). The biggest connection was when Jack Sander, who once ran WAGA and then Belo's TV division, was the name on the license.

  12. WSVN and WPLG do it. WOFL and WOGX do it. Stations on the west coast do it. Even WABC, WCVB and WMUR do it. So... yeah, considering how much busier lives are all getting.
