  1. Take it for what it's worth, but I don't think a little bit of informed opinion is such a bad thing. We have been subjected to three years of blatant Russia Russia Russia propaganda about Trump. Orwellian propaganda. I think the mainstream media would earn a lot of cred if they stop regurgitating propaganda and start interjecting their opinion that this is all a bunch of BS conjured up by people trying to cover up some major crimes they committed. You see, I don't think the average person is die hard conservavative or die hard leftist. But everybody loves to see crooks get what's coming to them, everybody loves a good hanging and everybody likes a good tar and feathering. The first respected mainstream national media guy to reject the Washington party line and call out what has been going on will have the same kind of respect accorded Bob Woodward. But the key words in the first paragraph are "informed opinion." Who has the ability to see what's going on and to tell it like it is and the gravitas to get people to listen? Not some kid who is wet behind the ears, that's for sure.

  3. There may be hope after all, especially for the former Dispatch stations, and any other station they drove (further) into the ground.....

  4. The 3:30 CFB games have always gone past 6pm as long as I can remember. Prior to last fall, the station would air an OTA newscast a 7pm, after the 3:30 game concluded. Since the network decided to move the primetime Saturday Night Football game from 8pm to 7:30pm, it has also decided to take that 7pm half hour as well, given that some of those 3:30 games go past 7pm, leaving no room for a local station to do an early evening newscast OTA. The only good thing about the 7:30 start is that stations don't have to wait until almost midnight to start their newscasts. That's unless the game goes to overtime.,,,

  6. I did. It's pretty much the main show's second hour now extended to a sixth day, minus the studio audience and twice the fluff.

  7. Today was Brigida Mack's last day at WBTV...she is leaving the station after 10 years. Her reporting work, involvment in the community, as well as launching their 4pm newscast and (now-defunct) 8pm newscast on their .2 (Bounce TV) were really some key reasons why WBTV has overtaken WSOC for No. 1 in the ratings.

  11. Wow. Their implementation is actually very good. Maybe it’s the gradients, but these look a lot slicker than the other Gray graphics.

  13. While that statement may be true however the way I look at it, all of the stuff going on at WBNS (including what happened today with Mike Davis) is starting to catch up to 10TV. Don't be surprised if WSYX overtakes 10TV's ratings spot in additional time slots moving forward.
