  1. Anchor David Goldman did a wonderful sign-off late last night of what was "KTVA 11 News". Vid courtesy of David Goldman's YT page. Also this morning, the KTVA site is now gone and the urls for both ktva.com & ktuu.com redirected to alaskasnewssource.com.

  3. Good for David! It's about time. Now that means 11am and 5pm are wide open. Wonder who it'll be. Maybe Adam and Gilma? Stay tuned.

  5. They were originally going to have a 4pm newscast when they acquired the CW affiliation but that never came to fruition. I'm curious to see what kind of format this show will take, and if they're going to start using the CBS 8 logo more instead of the NEWS 8 logo. Seems like they also dropped the 4:30am newscast, i'm sure it was to accommodate the noon newscast.

  6. We are going to have to agree to disagree on this. Not everyone wants to work in NYC, LA, etc... and many can be very successful in smaller markets. Reportedly, the highest paid local meteorologist and sportscaster both work in Chicago.

  7. Looks like KFMB is getting back in the 4p news game. Without having looked into it, seems like they dropped Judge Judy, since that was her slot. It will be fronted by the 5 o'clock team.
